Fatal stabbing in Rochester

Rochester police responded to a group of people fighting in the streets at Dewey and Driving Park Avenue. This was about 7:30 p.m.
Investigators say when they arrived, they found the victim, a 30-year-old woman badly beaten and stabbed in the middle of the intersection. She later died at hospital. Witnesses say the woman came outside to see what was going on and was chased by a group of 10 to 15 women who allegedly beat and stabbed her.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
