P-DELPHILAYOFFS2007-09-27-1190903365.jpgGood news for one business in Rochester. A temporary lay-off at Delphi will come to an end and Rochester employees will head back to work next week. Nearly 200 people were temporarily laid off at the Delphi plant in Rochester because of a union strike at General Motors. Delphi makes parts for GM, but with production at a stand-still, there was no need for parts. The two day strike ended yesterday, when the united auto workers union came up with a temporary agreement with GM.
