A nightmare start to the season gets worse by the day. LB Paul Poszluzny operated on today to repair a broken forearm. He’s likely gone for the rest of the season.
QB JP Losman expected to miss at least a couple of games with a knee sprain, which means rookie Trent Edwards is looking at his first NFL start Sunday when the Bills host the Jets.
"You gotta prepare for it and you gotta be able to adjust to it. It's hard as a rookie to make that adjustment quickly, but that's what I'm going to try and do and try and use the experience I had in the preseason and the experience I get in practice this week and use the things I'll learn this past weekend against the Patriots and just try to go from there. "
"You sit around and think about, man, you'll go crazy. Most importantly, you've just got to roll with whoever's in there. You got to roll with what you've got. You sit there and look around... 'this guy's down, this guy's down'... You'll never keep your morale up and you'll never keep that get-after-it."
"When things happen to you, you've got a choice. You can either feel sorry for yourself or move and our guys choose to move, which is the right decision."
Today the Bills brought back Craig Nall to be backup QB. He was cut last month.
