Monroe Community College will break ground on a new fitness and recreation center at the Brighton campus this morning.
MCCs President Thomas Flynn and PAETEC Communications CEO Arunas Chesonis will actually operate an excavator and a bulldozer to start the big dig.
The $12 million PAC center, made possible through public support and private philanthropy, will house an indoor synthetic turf athletic field and a fitness center, and will support a number of community activities including a summer sports camps.
