Golf's President's Cup gets underway in one week in Montreal. The top Americans matched against the rest of the world, aside from Europe, that's what the Ryder Cup is for. Big local connections too. Jeff Sluman is an assistant for Jack Nicklaus's team and Rochester's Hickey-Freeman is providing the formal and golf wear for both teams---showcasing their famed Bobby Jones collection.
Americans will be clad mostly in red. You may recall, Team USA wore Bobby Jones here at the 1995 Ryder Cup. It’s a huge honor for the Rochester-based apparel giant. They have been involved with the President's Cup since 1994, outfitting the teams in formal wear, as well as the golf attire.
