The next space shuttle mission with local astronaut Pam Melroy in command will likely be delayed.
NASA officials have put off moving discovery to a processing hangar today so repairs can be made on a leaking seal. The shuttle was set to be outfitted today with a fuel tank and rocket boosters for an October 23rd launch. The move to the assembly hangar has been postponed until next week.
A spokesman for NASA says a launch delay of a few days is likely.
