Moving Vietnam Wall Memorial leaves Rochester

VietnamWall2007-09-09-1189387910.jpgIt was the last day to catch a glimpse of the moving Vietnam Wall Memorial at Gates Memorial Park.

It's known as the moving wall because it carries the names of more than 58,000 Americans who died or are missing in Vietnam. The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. It was created as a service for those who may never see the memorial firsthand.
