Yates County sheriff's deputies say 25-year-old Gordon Taft called campus security, threatening a student, his sister. Taft had been banned from the campus and police were concerned Taft may be carrying a weapon. As a precaution, the college was locked down and one floor of a dorm was evacuated.

Taft was later arrested in Cohocton and is charged with aggravated harassment.
