Two alarm fire in Southwedge neighborhood

SANFORDSTFIRE2007-09-06-1189089235.jpgA two-alarm fire Thursday morning in the city's Southwedge neighborhood may have been sparked by a van parked inside the building.

Rochester firefighters responded to Gray's Carpet Cleaning on Sanford Street this morning around 5:15 a.m. Neighbors reported seeing heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters say nobody was hurt in the fire.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
