Firefighters from Greece, New York will take part in a fundraising tradition Tuesday.

Until five o'clock today, they will hit the streets with their boots at the intersections of Ridge Road and Stone Road, and Ridgeway Avenue and Long Pond Road to raise money for MDA.

Muscular dystrophy is a group of genetic and hereditary muscle diseases that cause progressive muscle weakness.

The Fill The Boot campaign has been around for more than 50 years.
