SPITZER2007-08-27-1188236545.jpgOne of the central figures in Albany's Troopergate scandal is reportedly expected back at his state job soon.

The "New York Times" says Darren Dopp, Governor Spitzer's communications director, may return to state government as early as this week.

He was suspended without pay for at least 30 days when Attorney General Andrew Cuomo issued a report saying members of the Spitzer Administration had misused the state police to discredit Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno.
