healthfair2007-08-23-1187886964.jpgAbout 500 people attended Thursday's Senior Health Fair at the Medley Center in Irondequiot.   It's sponsored by Assemblyman Joe Morelle.


Seniors got a chance to chat with health care providers, insurers, and get important cholesterol and glucose testing. The health fair continues to grow, as its now in its 15th year.


"It's really just a good way to give information to people, make sure that they're aware, good consumers, services as they start to transition to their senior years," says Morelle.


Channel 8 is also a proud sponsor, with our own medical reporter Elizabeth Harness on hand, answering important questions.
