Improvements to Pittsford canalway trail

It has been talked about for years...now improvements to the canalway trail in Pittsford are becoming a reality.
The trail will be moved around state canal maintenance facilities...which means trail users will no longer have to cross brook road in the town. The increased traffic on the trail has led to pedestrians and bikers getting hit by cars. The trail will now extend to the waters edge.
It’s hoped that beautifying the trail and making it safer will make it more of an attraction.
