America's 9-11 ride kicked off this morning for some members of local law enforcement. The remembrance ride pays tribute to those lost in the September 11th attack.
About 25 riders left from Spencerport Thursday morning. The foundation behind the ride also raises scholarship money for the children of first responders.
"For the most part a lot of the participants on the ride are police, fire and EMS people. Some of us were actually there at the different crash sites after 9-11," says rider Scott Valpey.
The riders first stop will be the crash site in Pennsylvania followed by Washington D.C. and New York City.
