Over 100 golfers teed off for a good cause Sunday afternoon. The Federation of Social Workers Golf Tournament kicked off along side two bone marrow drives. Three local and national charities reaped the benefits of Sunday's tournament. The bone marrow drives were open to the public and only a cotton swab of the cheek was needed by willing donors.
"Just to give someone a second chance at life or a few more years to live, I mean it takes nothing from the donor basically as far as what you’re giving. It's nothing," said J.P. O’Brien, a bone marrow donor.
