East Rochester fire

Wednesday morning crews responded to a house fire on Pine Street in East Rochester.

Firefighters believe it started with a malfunctioning appliance in the basement. The flames melted a water pipe and the water from that, extinguished the fire.

Two families live in the home, which sustained minor damage.
