The U.S. Army Reserve's 98th Division is transforming itself starting with a new commander. Major General Bruce Robinson changed command with Colonel Promotable Robert Catalanotti at the Army Reserve Center Sunday. A brief ceremony celebrated Major Robinson's 37 years of active duty and reserve service. He served as the 98th Division's Commander for five years. The division is transforming from a strategic force to an operational force.
"All of you here have our gratitude and respect of your service to this country and all that you represent to our community and to our nation," said Maggie Brooks, Monroe County Executive.
The 98th Division will now be commanded by a one star general.
