The verdict came Friday afternoon after a short deliberation by the panel. Porter was found stabbed to death inside her home on Rosewood Terrace in Rochester last December.

Prosecutors say Porter's seven-year-old daughter found her mother and called police. The daughter's 9-1-1 call was played for the jury during the trial.

McKenzie will be sentenced on August 22nd. News 8 will have a full report tonight at 5 and 6.
