Rochester Councilman arrested for DWI (2:20 pm Update)

Lightfoot_John2007-07-27-1185567952.jpgRochester City Councilman John Lightfoot was arrested last night for DWI. Lightfoot was pulled over on I-490 near Ames street. When officers approached the car the found that Lightfoot had been drinking. It was determined Lightfoot had a .14 blood alcohol level, almost twice the legal limit, after doing a field sobriety test. Lightfoot has been convicted of at least two previous DWI charges, both in 1998. If convicted, Lightfoot could lose his City Council seat.
