Fallen State Trooper AJ Sperr honored

He died in the line of duty last year, and today, a local state trooper receives top honors.
Greece native AJ Sperr has been awarded the 2006 Governor's Police Officer of the Year award.
New Hartford police officer Joseph Corr, who was also killed in action received the same award.
Trooper Sperr was shot after he pulled over the suspects of a bank robbery.
It happened last March in Big Flats, New York.
Earlier this year Trooper Sperr's name was added to the State of New York Police Officer's Memorial in Albany.
