On Wednesday, jurors heard a recording of a 9-1-1 call made by the victims 9 year old daughter, who was present at the time of the murder.

Police say 35-year-old Donyell McKenzie stabbed Tyffany Porter 41 times following an argument at the couples Rosewood Terrace apartment last December 22nd.

McKenzie's attorney concedes that his client caused Porters death, but says jurors should consider a lesser charge of manslaughter since the crime occurred in a fit of passion.
