T-Mobile2007-07-25-1185364321.gifSome residents in Greece are fighting to keep a cell phone tower out of their back yard.

Omnipoint Communications is the parent cell phone company for T-Mobile.

They want to provide better coverage to customers inside their homes.

During a Greece zoning board of appeals committee meeting last night, board officials proposed building a cell phone tower shaped like a bell tower behind the Lawson Road Church.

The Greece zoning board of appeals committee says the tower is needed to provide better service for customers who have complained.
