52-year old Michael Colon was well known in his East Rochester neighbor, for all the wrong reasons. “I saw him hit on a bunch of eleven and 12-year old girls all the time in the village of Fairport. Out here he used to creep all the girls out. We were all scared of him. I don't know how many times I've seen a young girl call the cops just for being weirded out by him,” said Chris Chesher. Residents along East Main Street say Colon was banned from several local restaurants and bars because he often harassed their female patrons. “We didn't allow him in here he bothered the women in fact we used to have to walk when he was out we walked the women to the cars at night when we were closing up,“ said John Hopkins. On Thursday Colon was indicted by a grand jury on charges stemmed from an alleged rape and sexual assault of two underage girls at Channing Philbrick Park in Penfield last Saturday. Colon was arrested after a witness called police. According to court records, Colon has been arrested at least a dozen times in the Village of Fairport on various charges dating as far back as 1996. The charges include larceny, trespassing, open consumption of alcohol, and stalking. Colon is currently being held in the Monroe County jail.
