A judge Friday cleared Rev. Peter Enyan-Boadu on allegations he forcibly touched a female church employee last year.

He faced misdemeanor charges of forcible touching, attempted forcible touching, and harassment.

Enyan-Boadu has been on leave, pending the court action.

His lawyer says he's pleased to have this matter behind him.

"It's been a terrible nine month ordeal for Father. He's a great guy and these charges were baseless and it's just a happy moment for him, for the church, and for all of us," said Charlie Schiano, Enyan-Boadu's attorney.

Father Enyan-Boadu is the pastor at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport.  He's originally from Ghana in Africa and has also served in churches in Rochester's 19th ward and Charlotte neighborhoods.
