An Irondequoit church that got national attention over it's support of gay rights issues has a new owner. Trinity Communion Church has purchased the former All Saints Church.
In 2005, All Saints was dissolved by the Episcopal Diocese when members withheld funds in a disagreement over ordaining gay priests.
After court battles, a judge ordered the congregation out, saying that the church belonged to the Diocese.
Trinity's first service will be held in September.
