Our Fragile World

This is the 13th Annual Our Fragile World Environmental Fair. Bring your 6,7, and 8 grade students to the Zoo on Friday and the entire family on Saturday to learn from up to 30 environmentally conscious groups and companies. They will share their ideas to help
conserve our world for generations to come.

May 5 – Animal Birthday Celebration

Time:  2:00 p.m.

Nikko and Luna (wolves)

 Kids make a special card and bring it with an animal enrichment item for the wolves.   It’s sure to be a howling good time.

                                                                     Admission: Free with paid Zoo admission


May 7 &8 Kindergarten Class

Tons of Tails                                                 

Learn about the many ways an animal uses it’s tail in this fun-filled hour and a half program that includes a craft, animal encounter, and a snack.  Ages 4-6 with or without a caregiver. Get a discount when you sign up for multiple classes at the same time.



9:30 a.m. on Monday OR 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday

Admission: Members $18.00; Non-members $22.00

ZooDiscovery Classes

Little Ducks: Animal Homes - 2-year-olds with a caregiver

From the tiniest insect to the biggest tiger, all animals like to have a safe place to relax. Join us as we discover how your home and our animals’ home are a lot alike!

Each day, we offer two 45-minute sessions: Session A is at 10:15 a.m. and Session B is at 11:30 a.m.  Songs, activities, a snack and a close up visit with one of our education animals are included in this program.  Sign up for multiple classes and receive a discount when you sign up for multiple classes at the same time.

Admission: Members $12.00/Non-Members $18.00.

May 10 - Parents’ Night Out

Drop your children off at your Zoo for a few hours while you take in a movie or enjoy a pre-Mother’s Day date.  Your kids will enjoy evening activities that include a craft, animal visitor, games and a snack.  Ages 4 and up ONLY

Time:  5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Admission:  Members: $15 for one child, $10 each additional sibling; a maximum of $40 per family

Non-Members: $20 for one child, $15 each additional sibling; a maximum of $50

May 16 – Family Fun Night

Marvelous Moms

Spend the Wednesday after Mother's Day learning what mom's in the wild are like.  Dinner and beverages, fun activities, and cool animals make this program an exciting educational adventure for the entire family.  AGES 3 and up ONLY.

Time:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Admission: Members $6.25; Non-members $8.75

May 17 – Bowling for Rhinos

Blue Rhino is the national sponsor

This is your chance to do something you love while supporting your Zoo.  Bowl with the Zookeepers and other staff at Dewey Garden Lanes and support of the Seneca Park Zoo’s Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers while doing your part for Rhinos worldwide.  Sponsor sheets are available now.  Call (585) 336-2503 for more information.
