Thibodeau discusses Papal Installment

Nazareth College History Professor Tim Thibodeau discussed the installment of Pope Francis Tuesday morning on News 8 at Sunrise.
Thibodeau said it's important to remember Tuesday's two hour ceremony in Rome was symbolic. Pope Francis has officially been the new pope since the election results were tabulated last week.
Pope Francis has made headlines over the past few days for his willingness to meet and greet the public. Thibodeau said that is an indication of how he will lead the Catholic Church going forward.
As it relates to the appointment of a new Bishop in Rochester, Thibodeau said it may be some time before Pope Francis makes a decision.
