Riley Norton led Batavia Notre Dame with 22 points as the Irish beat Fort Edward 49-35 in the Class D state semifinals Saturday morning at Hudson Valley Community College.

Norton made four three pointers for the Irish, who trailed by one early in the third quarter. However, Laurie Call got a friendly bounce on a short jumper that gave Batavia ND the lead for good. The Irish outscored Fort Edward 24-9 the rest of the way.

The Irish will face Oriskany for the state title Sunday at Noon back at HVCC.
