Kiana Patterson scored 22 points leading Troy to a 65-53 win over Pittsford Mendon in the Class A state semifinals Friday night at Hudson Valley Community College near Albany.

Lauren D'Hont led the Vikings with 17 points.

Troy led by as much as 16 in the second half. Mendon closed the lead to five with a minute to go, but never really threatened the Flying Horses.

Mendon finishes their season 21-2. D'Hont will now go on to a career at Division I Canisius.
