Blake Cognata died in January just two days before his 18th birthday. On Sunday friends and volunteers from the Cure Childhood Cancer Association were selling t-shirts and water bottles.
The sales took place at Moe's Southwest Grill in Pittsford and Moe's Victor. This is the second year the association has held this fundraiser. It is the first year the event is being held in Blake's honor.
The money from the products sold is staying local. It will all go to support families in our area who have children with cancer.
