Clyde-Savannah Rolls To Sectional Title

Joemaine Bogan scored 22 points as (2)Clyde-Savannah romped to a 72-28 win over (5)Kendall in the Class C3 Championship at Blue Cross Arena Saturday morning.

Joe Faniel and Kam DiSanto added 11 points apiece. Tom Kanaley was named tournament MVP after scoring four points and pulling down two rebounds. He had scored 42 points in the previous two sectional games.

The Eagles next play on Monday night at Waterloo High School against Class C1 champion Mynderse in the first round of Class C state qualifiers. The winner of that game moves on to face Lyons Wednesday at Blue Cross Arena for the right to play in the state quarterfinals.
