Webster Thomas 1, Churchville-Chili 0 F/OT

The new boss truly is the same as the old boss. After falling in last year's sectional playoffs, the Webster Thomas Titans won their 5th Class B title in 6 years thanks to a 1-0 overtime win against Churchville-Chili at R.I.T.

Nick Epping, who already won sectional titles in his freshman and sophomore seasons, scored the game-winner for the Titans.

Webster Thomas (20-2-1) will face Section X champ St. Lawrence High on Saturday in the state quarterfinals from St. Lawrence County.

Thomas goalie Steve Speis kept Churchville-Chili at bay while the Saints outshot the Titans throughout the game. Speis finished with 27 saves and has only given up one goal in three playoff games.
