Mendon found themselves down 12 at halftime to Batavia but quickly came back before topping the Blue Devils 49-46 at East High Shchool's RAP Tournaent. Matt Sullivan scored 13 of his 21 points in the second half as the Vikinigs move to 9-6.
Batavia falls to 12-2 after scoring only 12 points combined in the second half. Jalen Smith led Batavia with 19 points, including a 3-pointer to tie the game at 44 with three minutes remaining. On the Blue Devils next possession, with the score still tied at 44, Batavia turned the ball over which led to a Mat Sullivan layup that put Mendon up for good.
