It took an explosive first period to grab the lead. After that, the McQuaid Knights never looked back, winning 7-3 against Pittsford.
It's all part of a big weekend for the Knights who face top ranked Pittsford and 2nd ranked Fairport.
The Knights lit the lamp four times in the opening period, but led 4-2 going into the 2nd. Michael Capicotto had a terrific game scoring twice in the first period, and twice in the third. Ryal Talty, Joe Pasko and Matt Johnson had the other three goals for McQuaid.
Roger Powers, George Weyl, and Parker Hall tallied goals for Pittsford.
McQuaid moves to 12-3-1 this season, while Pittsford drops to 11-3-1.
