The Penfield girl's basketball team is like a freight train, once they get moving, they are pratically impossible to stop. So far this season, they've ransacked their way through Section V and it continued on Friday night with a 59-34 win over Fairport.

Katie Kayes broke the Penfield school record for assists in a game with 12. Her teammate Margot Hetzke had the old record at 10, but the junior had another great game, chipping in 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Patriots (10-2).

Caroline Dalton led the charge for the Red Raiders with 9 points in a game that reached double-digits in a hurry. Fairport is now 7-5.
