Rush-Henrietta 67, Wellsville 55

Rush-Henrietta welcomed Wellsville from the Southern Tier to their gym and promptly sent the Lions home with a 67-55 defeat.

Zana Dillard had arguably her best game for R-H (7-2), scoring 20 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Sophomore Emily Nestler continues an outstanding sophomore season with a team-high 22 points. Sarah Sweazy also had 18 points for the Royal Comets. A 12-3 run late in the first quarter gave R-H a 22-10 lead, and they never looked back.

Brittany Mesler led Wellsville with 23 points. The loss drops the Lions to 5-4 this season.
