Amerks begin camp in Buffalo Friday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team's
2012 training camp will open Friday, Sept. 28 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo
for two days of on-ice testing and practices. On Sunday, Sept. 30, the Amerks
open the Rochester portion of their training camp at The Blue Cross Arena
beginning at 9 a.m.
Friday's
opening practice sessions at First Niagara Center are scheduled to run from
11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and will be open to the
public. Players will be available to the media following their practice
session, while coaches will be available at the conclusion of the second
practice session. The same procedure will apply to all practices throughout
training camp.
