Greece Athena 39, Churchville-Chili 17

For the second straight week, the Greece Athena Trojans put up over 30 points. On Friday night, they won at Churchville-Chili 39-17 to move to 2-1 this year.
Once again, quarterback Frank Carnevale had a terrific performance. The senior went 14-20 passing for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran the ball 13 times for 82 yards and two touchdowns. His main target was junior fullback Ricky Federico. He picked up eight receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Trevond Jones also had a big game with 147 yards rushing and a score as well.
Greece Athena started the game very strongly, going up 20-7 at halftime. Churchville-Chili junior Austen Correia returned the opening kickoff to put the Saints back in the game at 20-14, but that was as close as they got. With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-3 this season.
