Bills pre-season schedule announced

ORCHARD PARK, NY - The Buffalo Bills today announced their 2012 preseason schedule. Buffalo will host the Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Weeks One and Three of the preseason.

The Bills will open their 2012 preseason at home against the Redskins. The Week One matchup will mark the 14th preseason meeting between Buffalo and Washington and first since 2010. Washington last traveled to Buffalo in the preseason in 1998.

Buffalo will travel to Minnesota in the second week of the 2012 preseason. The Bills and Vikings will meet for the 10th time in preseason history and first since 2002. Buffalo last faced Minnesota on the road in the preseason in 1996.

The Bills and Steelers will meet in Week Three of the 2012 preseason at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Buffalo and Pittsburgh have met in eight previous preseason contests, most recently in 2009.

Buffalo will close out its 2012 preseason at the Detroit Lions. The Week Four game will mark the 32nd preseason meeting between the two teams and the 11th consecutive preseason the Bills and Lions will have played.

Specific dates and times will be announced at a later date for the complete preseason schedule.
