Tropp called up to Sabres

BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 28, 2012) --- Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Corey Tropp has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
 

Tropp (6'0", 195 lbs., 7/25/89) re-joins the Sabres for his fifth career recall. He has appeared in 15 games for the Sabres this season, collecting two points (1+1) and 15 penalty minutes.
 
Tropp has recorded 17 points (7+10) in 22 games with Rochester this season. Overall, he has appeared in 98 AHL games, collecting 57 points (17+40) in time spent with Rochester and the Portland Pirates (2010-11).

The Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. native was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89
th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
