Pittsford 3, McQuaid 1

Nino DiPasquale scored a goal and assisted on another in a three-goal first period for (1)Pittsford. It was more than enough for the Panthers to knock off (4)McQuaid 4-1 in a Class A semifinal Tuesday evening in the Sports Centre at MCC.

Marc Weyl one timed a loose puck off the draw to open the scoring midway through the first period. DiPasquale made it 2-0 Pittsford on a wrister with just over a minute left in the first and then fed Max kaufman for a third goal in the final minute.

McQuaid got their goal in the third period, but never threatened.

Pittsford will now face (2)Fairport in the championship game Sunday at RIT.
