Jonathan Blythers made the game winning three with three minutes to go and Edison held Mendon to just two points the rest of the way as the Inventors won 61-60 on Lexington Avenue Monday night.

Mendon did have a great look at the game winner just before the buzzer, but a wing three bounced off the front of the rim.

Mike D'Amico tied the score at 58 with a three as Mendon erased a five point, 4th quarter deficit. Blythers answered with his game winner on the next possession. He led Edison with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Vaughn Boler topped all scorers with 23 points for the Vikings. D'Amico finished with 17.

Kenny Brantley chipped in 18 points and eight assists for Edison.
