Amerks Lackluster Effort Results In OT Defeat

Matt Frattin scored a power play goal halfway through overtime to give Toronto a 2-1 win over the Amerks Friday night at Blue Cross Arena.

Rochester was outshot 41-26 and played listless for long stretches of the game. Travis Turnbull had the lone Amerks goal, poking in a rebound during a second period power play.

Matt Caruana deflected in the Marlies first goal five minutes into the 2nd period.

David Leggio was by far the Amerks top player, making 39 saves. Rochester fans also enjoyed seeing Joe Finley dominate a fight with Kyle Neuber in the second period.
