Three Teens Hospitalized Following Assault Outside of Blue Cross Arena

Three teens were hospitalized following an altercation outside of the Blue Cross Arena Saturday night. All three had wounds from a stabbing-related assault.

Officers say they encountered two of the male victims, ages 16 and 17 (both of Rochester), outside of the Blue Cross Arena with their wounds. While they treated to them, a third victim (age 17, of Gates) arrived via private transportation to St. Mary's hospital. All three injuries were minor.

The first two victims were taken to Strong Hospital. Blue Cross Arena played host to Section V High School Basketball games, of which all victims were believed to be in attendance. Police believe a dispute led to the assault and the investigation is ongoing.
