Charlotte 58, Aquinas 55

Nerves were never going to get the best of Malik Herring during the final minute of Charlotte's game with Aquinas.

The sophomore sank four straight free-throws to lift the Lakesiders to a 58-55 win over the Little Irish. Herring finished the game with 15 points as Charlotte improved to 7-1. Aquinas falls to 5-2.

Aquinas led for most of the second half, before George Graham sank a layin with 45 seconds left to give Aquinas a 55-54 lead. Graham finished the game with 16 points. Junior Navaar Poole chipped in 10 points for the Irish.

Kievonn Banks once again led the charge for Charlotte with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
