All season long, East Rochester/Gananda relied upon their defense to stop opponents. In the Section V Class B Final, the Bombers got production from both sides of the ball in their 48-34 win over Livonia. It's their first sectional title in 27 years.

The two teams traded touchdowns through the first three quarters. In the fourth, with the game tied at 34 and about 2:30 remaining, ER/G's Chris Falu-Montes juked a run that fooled the Livonia defense, allowing him to score from 30 yards out and give the Bombers the lead for good.

On Livonia's next possession, Jake Miller intercepted a pass with his left hand and returned it for a Bombers touchdown that sealed the game for ER/G.

Falu-Montes picked up the game's MVP award with 133 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 26 carries. With the win, East Rochester/Gananda will take on Section VI Class B champion Alden on Saturday, November 10th at 3:00 from All High Stadium in Buffalo.
