Aquinas put forward a first-half performance that few will be able to top in their 49-20 win over University Prep (Pittsburgh, PA). The Little Irish entered halftime with a 42-0 lead after holding USO to -17 yards total offense.
Aquinas' running back Billy Lombardi finished the game with 134 yards rushing and three touchdowns (all in the first half). Alonzo Turney, Donato Clemente, and Luch Pietropaolo each found the endzone during the opening two quarters. Dillon Cup also added a 52-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
The Little Irish are now 2-0 this season.
