The defending state champion Victor Blue Devils continue to show why they are top of their class after knocking off McQuaid 10-4 in the Section V Class AA final Thursday at Frontier Field.

The Blue Devils got off to a strong start thanks to three runs in the first inning. However, McQuaid responded with three of their own in the top of the second to tie the game at three. From there, Victor never looked back, racking up four runs in the bottom of the second to take a 7-3 lead.

Finals MVP Pete Carrier had picked up four RBI for Victor (19-4).
