Updated: December 3, 2012
Defense has been the key to Elba's success this season. In the state final, the Lancers 'D' was practically unstoppable as Elba held Argyle to only three points in the fourth quarter, en route to a 48-34 win in the state final. For Elba, it's the first state championship in program history.

Lancers' Meg Stucko used the second half as her own personal shooting range, scoring 14 of her 15 points after halftime, including 10 in the fourth quarter. Stucko also grabbed 16 rebounds for the Lancers. Tournament MVP McKenzie Bezon added 14 points, while Kelsey Bezon chipped in 12.

Elba ends the season a perfect 25-0.
