LeighAnn Stauffer made a three pointer with two minutes left in overtime to put Rush-Henrietta up for good in a 54-50 win over Webster Thomas in Henrietta Friday night.

The game went to overtime following a flurry of buckets in the final two minutes. Allison Muth hit a long jumper to put the Titans up one with 50 seconds left, but Nicole Turley answered for R-H and it was 44-43 with 25 ticks remaining.

Kara Houppert nailed a three pointer with 12 seconds left to give Thomas a two point edge and Dana Watts erased it just as fast. Without using a timeout, she drove the length of the floor for a layup that tied the score at 46 with five seconds left.

Houppert led all scorers with 21 points for the Titans. Emily Nestler led four players in double figures for the Comets with 14 points. Watts had 12 and Stauffer chipped in 11.

This was the rematch of a game Thomas won by 24 back in December.
